Our 6 Stage Approach
Onboarding
This is the research process. After you fill out our questionnaire, we will interview you on what your business needs and goals are. We then write up the proposal and then after it is signed-off on, we go to the next step
Design
Using what we learn from our questionnaire and interview, we start the design process by gathering digital assets from you and discuss colors, fonts, and layout. If desired, we can create a Style Guide for your website. Once we have created a mock-up which will show the website in rough-draft form, the client will sign-off on the design and then subsequent pages will be created and signed-off on.
Development
This is when the building of the website will actually take place. Navigation, page architecture, and user experience will be the focus at this stage. Themes, headers, footers, 3rd-party plug-ins, and forms are loaded and installed.
Testing
The testing stage will consist of testing the website on different screens and devices. Forms will be submitted to make sure they are being sent to the correct emails, links will be clicked on to make sure none are broken, and at this point Google Analytics can be installed. If the website contains a store, test purchases will be made as well.
Client Requirements
After the testing has been completed and accepted, the client will be shown how to make basic edits and blog posts. Client login credentials will also be created along with the email system.
Launch
Your website is then made live on your domain. If the domain has been created on our test server, this is when we will migrate everything over to your domain. One last test is made and once everything is found in good working order the website is complete.
Also at this point we can discuss future services your website will need, such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing, and Reputation Management.
